NRA Home Firearms Safety Course

NRA Home Firearms Safety Course (4 hours):  This is a non-shooting course designed to teach students the basic knowledge, skills, and attitude for the safe handling and storage of firearms and ammunition in the home.  The course is conducted in a classroom.  Students are taught NRA's three rules for safe gun handling; primary causes of firearms accidents' firearm parts; how to unload certain action types; ammunition components; cleaning; care; safe storage of firearms in the home; and the benefits of becoming an active participant in the shooting sports.  Students receive the NRA Home Firearm Safety handbook and other NRA materials and a course completion certificate.  

Course Fee:  $60.00

This course is designed especially for families with small children at home or other circumstances that require knowledge of firearms without necessarily needing to take a firearms shooting course.   If you are interested in having a group presentation or special class, let us know and we will work with you to set it up.
